Mirror Ball Art Class ✨ Creating a Sparkling Mirror Ball-Stained Glass Art Technique

Hello! This is Finkicraft. 😊

Today, we’re going to make a sparkling mirror ball with the kids! 🪩✨ This was a very popular art activity, and the children really enjoyed creating their own colorful mirror balls.

📌 Materials

  • Mirror ball template file
  • Aluminum foil
  • OHP film
  • Acrylic markers
  • Colored paper
  • A4 black construction paper

There are many different acrylic markers available, so you can choose the brand or product you like best.

🪩 Class Preparation & Activity

If you have a large class, pre-cut the round pieces of aluminum foil before the lesson. This saves time and helps the children complete the project within one class period.

First, the children color their mirror ball designs using acrylic markers. Then, use the aluminum foil to create the shiny mirror ball effect and add shading to make it look three-dimensional.

For the background, prepare small pieces of colored paper in advance to represent sparkling lights. ✨ Let the children choose colors that match their mirror balls and decorate the background with the paper pieces.

This simple activity allows each child to create a unique, colorful, and sparkling mirror ball artwork! 🪩🎨✨
