Materials

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Foam board
• A wooden skewer
• Paint
• A paintbrush
• Markers
• Thin paper

Now, let’s get started!

Steps

1. Sketch your design.
2. Trace over your drawing with a marker to make the lines bold.
3. Press and carve along the lines with a wooden skewer.
4. Apply paint to the printing surface.
5. Place a thin sheet of paper on top and press it down to make your print.

The whole process takes about two 40-minute sessions.
