βοΈ DIY Pixel Art Keychain Project
Hello! This is Finkicraft. π
Ta-da! Today I made a keychain!
I turned my pixel art into a cute keychain and now Iβm carrying it on my bag every day. π
Isn't it adorable? I love seeing my artwork come to life as a real accessory.
What do you think? π

After making this keychain, I started wondering how much fun it would be to create pixel art with children.
So, I decided to try it as a class!
The children were given three pixel art options to choose from: an avocado, a rainbow star, and a capybara. ππ₯π¦«
It was exciting to see each child choose their favorite design
and bring it to life one pixel at a time. π

Although the file may look small in the photos, each design includes numbered rows and columns to help children follow the pattern easily.
Itβs the perfect activity for children to stay focused
and engaged for about 40 minutes to an hour. π
Β
Before starting the class, I introduced the children to pixel.
Pixels are tiny square pieces that make up a picture.
When lots of little squares come together, they create one big image.
Thatβs the magic of pixel art! π

After learning about pixel art, the children received their templates
and began decorating them.

The pixel-style designs reminded the children of classic virtual pet games,
so they loved the activity even more!
