Making a flamingo using clay!
Things to prepare: 5cm Styrofoam, white, black,
pink, orange, and red clay, paper clay, stick, gluegun,
sharp tool, OHP sheet, steel wire, scissors, wire cutter
(plier), handicraft glue, sharp tool (needle or toothpick)
1. Stick 2 wooden sticks on the Styrofoam ball.
2. Cut the legs appropriately using a wire cutter.
3. We’re going to make the face and neck of the flamingo.
Bend the wire well as seen in the screen.
4. Fix properly using a glue gun. It’s hot, so be careful!
5. Mix the pink, red, and white clay.
(Make as much as you can, more than the screen!)
6. Mix orange clay in the color that was just mixed.
It will turn into a flamingo color.
7. After rolling the neck out in a long shape,
make the shape of the face.
8. Insert the steel wire through the clay.
9. Shape it into the neck and head of a flamingo.
10. Stick the clay around the body.
and white, make the legs and feet.
12. Use a sharp tool to make the toes.
13. As for the eye area,
stick white clay as seen in the screen.
14. Now, we’ll try making the beak.
After making a triangular shape using pink clay,
15. Stick black clay as seen in the screen.
16. Use a sharp tool to separate the upper and lower lip.
17. Stick the toes as seen in the screen.
18. Stick the eyes simply by using black clay.
19. Draw the shape of wings appropriately on OHP paper.
20. Decorate the feather shape using light pink clay as seen in the screen. (Decorate both wings).
21. Mix yellow clay on top of light pink clay to make the color of the wing.
22. Decorate the wing shape.
23. Stick the wing that has been made on the flamingo’s body.
24. Finally, the flamingo is complete. Next, we’ll make a pond.
